Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 20, 2026
Seven is a small, private app for sharing real life with the people you actually know. There’s no public feed, no followers, no going viral — just you and your connections. To keep it that way, here are the house rules. They’re simple, and they matter.
By using Seven, you agree to follow these Guidelines and our Terms of Service.
The short version
Be kind. Be real. Don’t post things that hurt, exploit, or violate other people.
If you wouldn’t show it to a friend in person, don’t post it here.
What’s not allowed
No nudity or sexual content
Don’t post pornography, sexually explicit images, or nudity meant to be sexual.
Nothing that exploits or endangers minors — zero tolerance
We have absolutely no tolerance for any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers anyone under 18. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexualized content involving minors. We report this to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement, and we permanently remove the accounts involved.
No harassment, bullying, or hate
Don’t target, threaten, demean, or harass other people. No hate speech or content that attacks people based on who they are (race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar).
No non-consensual or private images
Don’t post photos of someone who hasn’t agreed to be shared. Never post intimate or private images of another person without their explicit consent (“revenge porn” is strictly prohibited and is illegal in many places).
No photos of people who didn’t say yes
Only post photos of other people if they’re okay with you sharing them with your connections — especially anything taken in a private setting.
No illegal content or activity
Don’t use Seven to break the law, or to promote, sell, or facilitate illegal goods or activity.
No graphic violence or harm
No gore, graphic violence, cruelty, or content that promotes self-harm.
No impersonation, scams, or spam
Be yourself. Don’t pretend to be someone else, deceive people, or spam your connections.
Respect ownership and privacy
Only post content you have the right to share. Don’t post other people’s private or sensitive information, and don’t infringe anyone’s copyright or other rights.
A note on photos (“Shots”)
When you post a photo on Seven:
- Only post photos you have the right to share.
- Get the okay from people in your photos before sharing them with your connections.
- Your photos are shared only with the connections you choose — Seven is private by design, not a public network. But remember: people you share with can still see, save, or screenshot what you post, so share thoughtfully.
How to report something
If you see something that breaks these rules:
- Use the Report option on the content or person in the app, or
- Email us at seven@thingsforpeople.co.
You can also block or disconnect from anyone at any time, which stops future sharing between you and that person.
We review reports of serious harm as quickly as we can.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on what happened, we may:
- Remove the content,
- Warn the person,
- Temporarily suspend the account, or
- Permanently remove the account.
For anything involving the safety of minors, we act immediately and report to the appropriate authorities.
We can’t promise we’ll catch everything, but we take reports seriously and act on them.
